Registration is now open for St. Charles students in 5th through 8th grades to join our Chess Program! Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, all skill levels are welcome to learn, improve, and enjoy the game in a fun and supportive environment. The purpose of the club is to teach chess, enhance skills, foster friendly competition, and encourage friendships.

Classes will be held on Wednesdays from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on the following dates: February 5, 12, 19, 26, and March 12, 19, 26. (Note: There will be no session on March 5 due to Ash Wednesday.) The sessions will take place in the library and will be led by Fr. Dan. After school, students will be escorted to the library. Following the session, children must either be picked up at the back parking lot or proceed to the CARES program if enrolled.

To register, please complete one form per child by January 31. A confirmation email will be sent upon receipt of your registration. Parent volunteers are welcome to assist with the program, provided all necessary requirements are completed.
